Thermodynamics of the graphite to diamond transformation
After supersaturation of the solution→Start to diamond crystallize (⸪ diamond has lower solubility than graphite).
The solution is supersaturated when the actual solute concentration (C) is higher than the solute solubility (Csat).
Arrhenius equation (reaction rates)
k=Ae^(〖-E〗_a/RT)
k increases about 2–10 times when the temperature increases 10°C.

Development of HPHT machine in InCent-LGD, IITM
High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) is one of the primary methods used to grow diamonds in a lab. Carbon is subjected to extreme temperatures and pressures and is meant to replicate the extreme conditions of deep earth where natural diamonds form.

India Centre for Lab Grown Diamond (InCent-LGD)
Typically 55,000 to 60,000 atm of pressure are used to grow a diamond by the HPHT method. 55,000 atm =600 African elephants resting in the palm of your hand.
